Overview
Every scan report can be exported as a PDF. You have two options:
- Branded PDF — includes your agency logo, brand colors, and an optional analyst summary section
- Plain PDF — exports the report as-is with the default MarketRadar styling
How to export a branded PDF
Step 1: Open the report
Run a scan or open a saved report from your dashboard. Reports are available at URLs like:
app.localmarketradar.com/report?id=SCAN_ID
Step 2: Open the Branding & Export panel
Click the Export PDF button in the top navigation bar. This opens the Branding & Export panel on the right side of the screen.
Step 3: Upload your agency logo
Click Upload Logo and select a PNG or SVG file (max 500KB). Your logo will appear in the report header and on the PDF cover page.
Step 4: Set your brand colors
Use the color pickers to set:
- Primary Color — used for accent elements, score rings, and headings (default: MarketRadar lime
#BDEF5A) - Secondary Color — used for highlights and chart elements (default: cyan
#34D4C8)
Your colors apply immediately to the on-screen report preview so you can see exactly how the PDF will look.
Step 5: Add an agency write-up (optional)
The write-up field lets you add a short description that appears below your logo — ideal for an agency tagline or "Prepared by..." line.
Example:
Prepared by Acme Digital — your local SEO partner since 2018.
Step 6: Add an analyst summary (optional)
Click + Add summary in the report toolbar to open the analyst summary section. This adds a page to the PDF with:
- Prepared by — your name
- Prepared for — your client's name
- Date — auto-filled with today's date (editable)
- Key insights — a free-text area for your analysis and recommendations
The summary only appears in the PDF — it's hidden from the on-screen report view.
Step 7: Export
Click Save & Export PDF to save your branding settings and trigger the browser's print dialog. Select Save as PDF as your printer destination.
Tip: In Chrome, set margins to None and enable Background graphics for the best results.
Exporting without branding
Click Export without branding below the export button to print the report in plain MarketRadar styling without any logo or color customization.
Sharing reports with clients
Reports are shareable via URL. Copy the URL from your browser and send it to your client — they can view the live report without needing a MarketRadar account.
Note: Report URLs are public. Avoid sharing sensitive reports containing client strategy notes.
PDF best practices
- Use PNG or SVG logos with a transparent background for the cleanest result
- Keep logos under 500KB to ensure fast loading
- The analyst summary is ideal for client presentations — fill it in before exporting
- Brand colors are saved to your account and applied automatically to all future reports
